Schackmatt´s Crowbay´s Cream "Stacey" earned her final CAC and is now Finnish Champion!!

"Knoppen" today got a plain EXC.
He did not like moving when the ground was SO WET!, and I don´t think I can blame him..:-)

Schackmatt´s Pokerface BOB-puppy in Aura today!

It has been quite a while since I last updated this site,
and a lot have happened!
At the beginning of December 2010 our American Cocker puppies moved to new loving homes!
Schackmatt´s Jackpot "Ludde", Schackmatt´s Queen of Hearts "Molly"
and Schackmatt´s Casino Girl "Nelly" are now living in families of their own!
I´m very happy to have met everyone of them since they left our place!
We wish them all the best along with their new families!!
The fourth puppy, Schackmatt´s Pokerface "Knoppen", is still living with us and it seems that nothing´s going to change that!!
In late December Schackmatt´s Snapdragon "Climpen" left us to live in a new family!
The decision was hard to make but in the end I´m sure it was the best for "Climpen"!
Especially since I´ve learned that the new owner is very fond of him and he comes along very well in the new family!
Our best wishes to Heli & "Climpen"! Hopefully You have many great years ahead!!
And Thank You Heli!! for taking such good care of our lovely "Lumpa"!!
Only a few days after "Climpen" moved we suddenly lost one more of our dogs.
Our kennel´s firstborn puppy, Schackmatt´s Hufflepuff "Eliza",
died in a tragical accident on newyear´s day.
We still miss her every day!
On February the 19th we got great news from Tuusniemi!
Schackmatt´s Hör o Häpna "Papu" was BOS and got her first CAC under the judge Marja Talvitie!
We are so proud!
Congratulations to Päivi and "Papu"!!
Since we have lost two of our dogs in the last months,
we are just so happy that a little male puppy, Schackmatt´s Pokerface "Knoppen",
is still living with us brightening our days and developing quite nicely!
"Knoppen" has participated in two puppyshow being BOS in the first and BOB in the other!!
We hope to show him in official shows later this summer.

It´s been confirmed!
Steffi has been checked by ultrasound and now we know for sure
that we are going to have Kees-puppies some weeks from now!

After a very very long time our pages are finally updated!
I guess that says a lot! Our days have passed by without anything of interest to report.
The summer 2009 we have travelled to some shows trying to earn Steffi´s 3rd CAC,
but without any luck. Some reserv-CAC´s has been our only achievements.
Somehow, with the help of Steffi´s breeder,
we´ve found a lovely male who hopefully becomes the father of her first litter some weeks from now!
A big thank you to Nanna at kennel Eswood
for helping us find a propriate male.
An even BIGGER Thank You to Tanja Stenberg for letting us use Your beautiful "Chili"
and letting our girl stay at Your house for some days!
We hope that some beautiful Keeshond-pups will be the result of the visit!

This weekend we´ve spent in Porvoo participating in the annual dog show.
First out was "Steffi-the-kees".
She got a plain exe. The judge did not place her any further.
On sunday it was "Climpen´s" turn to show his qualities.
Shown for the second time in official class he was best male
and best of breed, of course getting his first CAC!
We are so proud of our handsome boy!!

Today we got the most wonderful news from Kuopio Int Dog Show!

Our Schackmatt´s Snapdragon was BOB-puppy.
Eswood Goes Bananas was second best female of the Keeshonds.

Today we have been to a dogshow in Koski Tl.
Schackmatt´s Snapdragon became BOB-puppy
and Schackmatt´s Crowbay´s Cream was BOS-puppy.

Today we have participated in a puppyshow in Kokemäki.
Schackmatt´s Snapdragon was best male-puppy and BOS!
Schackmatt´s Crowbays Cream was 3rd best baby-female and got a price of honour!

Some of our puppies took part of their first show last sunday!
Their results were very pleasing:
Schackmatt´s Crowbay´s Cream won the female baby class (5-7 months)
and Schackmatt´s Snapdragon won the male baby class (5-7 months).
These two and Schackmatt´s Love-in-a-mist and Schackmatt´s Bluebell
also went to breeder´s class where the group
got a price of honour and became best breeder´s group of the breed!
A big thank you to the owners of my puppies for taking good care of the youngsters!

"Eliza" och "Flora" är bägge betäckta med amerikanska importhanen Gallant A Moment In Time
och efter ultraljudsundersökning idag vet vi att bägge är dräktiga!
Det betyder att vi kommer få två valpkullar som bägge föds vecka 38.
